Taiwanese soul-psych outfit, Sunset Rollercoaster, celebrates the four-year anniversary of their most popular track, “My Jinji” with a new psychedelic love story visual directed by Gystere Peskine, watch here: https://youtu.be/5xwFCtDc0fI

Says lead vocalist/guitarist, Kuo Hung Tseng, about the abstract, beautifully shot video inspired by ’90s era Hong Kong films, “A fallen warrior falls in love with a princess from a faraway galaxy, but he can’t remember anything until a bee shows up.”

In honor of the “My Jinji” video and Valentine’s Day, Tseng also curated a ‘Subtropical Lovers’ playlist featuring everything from Kate Bush to Leonard Cohen and Taiwan’s Richie Jen.

Blending together city pop, soul, jazz and “cute prog rock,” Sunset Rollercoaster are becoming known worldwide for their epic guitar jams, imaginative visuals, and mesmerizing live show. Their most recent 2019 EP, Vanilla Villa, made fans at Bandcamp, Flaunt, Hypebeast, Paste, Brooklyn Vegan, among others, with lead single “Villa” also getting a mind-bending remix from Stones Throw’s Jerry Paper.
