April 29 2016

New Zealand-born, Wollongong-based solo artist Stay At Home Son (real name Jesse Martin-Allan) today releases his debut self-titled EP out via Neat Lawn. Listen to his most recent single ‘Tired’, lifted from the EP here

Tired’, follows his lead track ‘Bluffs and Blocks’ that gave audiences a glimpse into the life of Martin-Allan as he explores the social anxieties that often follow adolescence.

The Stay At Home Son EP is the first release out of newly established Melbourne label Neat Lawn, the most recent project from Gab Strum aka Japanese Wallpaper

The EP was crafted over the last two years, drawing influence from various styles and genres that come together in the unique array of sounds present in the EP.

Of the release, Martin-Allan says: “I’ve spent the last couple of years producing and writing this EP in an incubator and it really feels like it’s time for me to let it out, and be comfortable with the imperfections within the songs and myself”.

The Stay At Home Son EP is out now via Neat Lawn.
