Introducing Elk Road with debut single ‘Not To Worry’
Introducing Elk Road, AKA solo artist and producer Rory Garton Smith who emerges out of the flourishing Perth electronic music scene armed with his debut single ‘Not To Worry (ft. Governors)‘. The song was first heard on triple j’s Good Nights and on 2015 with Richard Kingsmill this last week. Check it out below:
‘Not to Worry’ is the first taste of what’s to come from the producer. Of the song, he notes: “It’s about letting go and re-discovering yourself in a manic world. There’s always something to stress about, sometimes you need to go and find yourself by moving outside of your comfort zone.”
This first single comes after an initial encounter with audiences playing the Red Bull Music Academy stage at this years Splendour In The Grass to an unsuspecting crowd as well as rounding up a strong online following for his remixes for Charlie XCX, Jaymes Young and Carmada’s ‘Maybe‘ with SLUMBERJACK (reposted by Skrillex and Nina Las Vegas on their collab Select Series).
