Fractures shares new single ‘Reactor’

June 25 2015

Melbourne solo songwriter/producer Fractures (aka Mark Zito) has released his new single ‘Reactor’, which premiered on triple j’s Good Nights and online via Stereogum overnight. Listen to it here.

Reactor’ is the first new release following his debut self-titled EP in July 2014 and the first track off his anticipated debut album due for release in early 2016.

Written, performed and produced himself, the track touches on the dreamy falsetto and intelligent electronica sound that first launched Fractures, yet his music continues to evolve and mature in content and approach.

Of the song Zito says, “It’s about lust and temptation and someone who’s given in to both and the guilt and justifications/lies that follow that they’d sooner believe than own up to.

Fractures has been keeping busy since 2014, taking his captivating live show across a sold out national Aus tour and to capacity audiences in Paris, Amsterdam, London and the U.S.

‘Reactor’ is available on iTunes now.
