The now Sydney/New York-based electronic duo, Vallis Alps are excited to share new single ‘So Settled’, their latest and last track for 2017. Already topping Spotify’s ‘New Music Friday’ playlist, the track is another taste of the pair’s unmistakably bright and euphoric sound pairing Tosif’s effortless vocals with Ansari’s vibrant and confident production. Listen to it below:

Vallis Alps say of the track, “So Settled is a result of pushing our musical boundaries and shows an attitude shift in our writing process. When writing the Fable EP, we tried really hard to represent musical ideas that were almost fully formed in our heads. But with So Settled, as with our recent song Oceans, we tried to let go of those expectations and allow the song to go where it wanted. It naturally gave way to a song that is our most ‘acoustic’ sounding and immediately became the most fun to play live.”

The release of ‘So Settled’ follows an exciting year for the pair who have since the release of their follow up Fable EP, toured the world playing festival such as Falls Festival (Aus), Lightning In A Bottle (US), Splendour In The Grass (Aus), We The Fest (Indonesia), Reading & Leeds (U.K.), North Coast (US), Listen Out (Aus), Oh Yes (Aus) and Spilt Milk (Aus) and played over 40 sold out headline dates across the U.S., U.K., Europe, Canada and Australia. Recent single ‘Oceans’ boasts itself as a triple j mainstay in 2017, with the track having also peaked at #1 on Hype Machine, #11 on the iTunes Dance Singles Chart and entering into Australia’s Top 100 Shazam Chart at #49.

Vallis also played their first ever acoustic performance of their debut single ‘Young’ at a recent Sofar Sounds session in London as well as their rendition of The Shin’s iconic track, ‘New Slang’ on triple j’s Like A Version
