Todd Terje & The Olsens announce new Australian supports ahead of Sydney and Melbourne shows this summer

October 31 2017

Todd Terje & The Olsens are pleased to announce supports for their debut Australian tour this summer. Joining the revered Norwegian producer will be Roland Tings at Sydney’s Metro Theatre and Tornado Wallace  and Ara Koufax at the Forum in Melbourne.

Melbourne producer, Roland Tings steps up to the stage, fresh from his recent EP release, Each Moment A Diamond and a busy 12 months travelling across the states on a 40-day tour with Com Truise (Ghostly International) and Clark (Warp) as well as festivals such as Laneway, Listen Out, Splendour In The Grass, Meredith Music Festival and more. Roland Tings ends another impressive year backed up by sold out shows, worldwide online and radio support, and the delivery of a record recognised for its forward-thinking, bass-heavy production.

Todd Terje & The Olsens welcome Tornado Wallace to the bill in Melbourne,  who brings his recent mini-album Lonely Planet to the Forum Theatre – marked by Pitchfork as his most fully realised and original work to date.  Serving up a soundtrack sitting somewhere between house and disco, he is set to heat up his hometown dance-floor.

Opening the night in Melbourne will be locals, Ara Koufax. The pair have been working together since high school, and have in the last four years, released music through Fort Romeau’s imprint Cin Cin, Cutters Records and NYC label CSCN, performed in cities and festivals throughout Australia, the U.S. and Europe, and drawn attention from the likes of Tim Sweeney, Caribou’s Dan Snaith, Pitchfork and BBC Radio 1.

Catch Todd Terje & The Olsens for their debut Australian performance this summer.
