No Mono today share their soulful new single ‘Frostbitten’. This is the fourth track to date, lifted from their debut LP release Islands (Part 1) out via Pieater on May 4. Listen to it HERE.

Frostbitten is about things ending”, shares Tom Snowdon. Born out of idle play on the piano, the song as a desire to express the gravity of a difficult chapter in life. It stands as the most personal and literal song written by the songwriter. Like many before him, Snowdon uses songwriting as a means of catharsis, “recording the track was like letting go of a heavy, sad weight. It was important to make in that way because it helped with accepting things and moving on.”

The release of ‘Frostbitten’ follows tracks ‘Tidal Fight’, ‘Violence Broken’ and ‘Butterflies’ and comes with the news of the pair’s long-awaited Sydney Opera House debut. Booked off the back of their debut Sydney sold out show at the Lansdowne Hotel, No Mono are set to make a special one-off performance work for the 10th Anniversary of Vivid LIVE in 2018, showcasing the consistently brilliant songwriting of Tom Iansek as heard in Big Scary and #1 Dads and a captivating performance from Tom Snowdon, marked as one of the country’s most unique voices of the past decade.
